1. Zero-Retention Principle

QuickPaste is designed on an ephemeral, zero-retention model. Your shared snippets are stored temporarily in our database and are completely purged upon expiration (either by a scheduled timeframe or maximum view count). Once purged, the data is unrecoverable.

2. Data Storage & Erasure

We do not create persistent logs, backups, or shadow copies of your snippet content. When a snippet is marked as "Burn After Reading," it is deleted instantly from database memory upon its first retrieval. We store only the raw payload text, lifetime parameters, and access statistics.

3. Cookies & Tracking

QuickPaste does not use marketing cookies, tracking beacons, or cross-site tracking systems. We employ localized browser memory (localStorage) to store your personal snippet sharing history locally on your device. This history never leaves your browser and is never uploaded to our servers.

4. Access Analytics

To monitor server load and potential abuse, we record standard network metadata (such as timestamp and payload size). IP addresses are not logged in relation to created snippets to ensure complete operational confidentiality.
